Got my badge for Macworld 2009! Now if I can only get some House of Prime Rib…

So last night I got dragged to the field show competition in Arroyo Grande. First time going to one of those, so it was interesting. Made me miss doing marching band at Riordan, but we never did field shows in HS. Lots of bands, lots of crazy supporters (this one girl kept making some crazy holler; now I can’t get the notion that Hanford people are rednecks out of my head). Saw Cal Poly perform; interesting show they have.

Anyway, the search for food continues.

I think this is what my menu for dinner today will look like:

Jason’s Famous Loins
Beef loin strip, marinated in an aged balsamic vinegar sauce, topped with fresh ground pepper, secret spices, and mushrooms, slow-grilled to juicy perfection. $12.95

Jason’s Famous Potatoes
Garlic mashed potatoes at its finest! Fresh potatoes mashed into a smooth texture, then added to a creamy concoction. Seasoned to perfection with freshly ground pepper. Slow-roasted garlic cloves added later for a mellow, garlic flavor. $6.95

Doesn’t it make your mouth water? I think I have my first great staple dish now that can be whipped up fast but taste superb!

I’m STILL munching away at my meatballs al forno. I brought some for breakfast today at work, and that’s finally the last of it. It’s not bad, but I wanted to be done with it yesterday. But, oh well.

I just hope I didn’t put too much balsamic vinegar on my rice, if that will even taste good…
