Free iPod Mini Conga Line
by inferno10 on Jul.11, 2004, under hopeful
Ok, in an effort to help others get free iPods as well as me, I am willing to start and maintain a “conga line” of referrals. This will be a great way for you to earn your way to a free iPod or iPod Mini!
Here’s what you do:
1) Visit my iPod Conga blog to see the featured referral to sign up with
2) Click the link for the featured referral
3) Sign up with the freeiPods service to get your account to receive referrals
4) IMPORTANT: complete an offer with one of the freeiPods’ sponsors. (I did the ancestry.com option)
5) Once your freeiPods account verifies you signed up for one of the offers, CANCEL the offer you signed up with. You will still receive the credit for signing up, which makes you eligible for the free iPod!
6) Once your account is verified and you completed an offer, post a comment in the ‘iPod Conga‘ blog. You MUST include the following:
– The name of the user whose referral link you signed up with
– Your referral link.
– Fill in your username in the ‘name’ section
– Put a VALID email I can use to contact for referral verification
Once the featured referral person verifies you actually used their referral, I will add you to the queue.
More details will be available at the ‘iPod Conga‘ blog as I develop it.
Help a Brudda Out

I’m trying to get myself a free iPod. I’ve been hearing this scheme of sorts that is getting people free iPods. Apparently, you sign up for this service, then get 5 others to sign up as well and take an offer (I saw offers for AOL, ancestry.com, Citibank, and others). Once you accrue 5 people, they send you an iPod.
I know you guys are seriously doubting this. Hell, I am as well. But I’ve looked around at many forums that talked about this scheme. Many have gotten their iPods! The company running this scheme is a legitimate one too (gratisweb).
So I bit the bullet and decided to try my hand at the pot. I did the ancestry.com offer, and now need 5 people to sign up and do the same thing. Good thing is that you don’t have to pay for the whole thing. Just sign up with the site, sign up for the advertiser’s offer, then cancel once your account is verified!
Anyway, here’s my link:
http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=7011278
Remember, sign up with the link above. Take an offer from one of the site’s advertisers. Then once your freeiPods account is verified, CANCEL the advertiser’s offer. Then you can be on your way to getting a free iPod as well!
So far I’m at 0. =(

Jason’s First Last Supper

I’ve about studied all I can stand for EE. I’m finally able to do the review problems without referencing the book or notes. I can do my old exams now after seeing what I did wrong.
I really don’t like the feeling that the final will absolutely determine my grade in the class. I need to completely ace this final to guarantee a passing score. Anything less is a purgatory pretty damn close to hell, if you know what I mean.
From then on, though, it’s smooth sailing with 2 more finals to go. I’m not in passing limbo with CPE or PHYS (at least I think I’m not).
May Aquaman use his powers to help me.
But for now, I eat my last supper.
Looks like the Terminator is our new governor…

Arnold’s the projected winner now. Let’s hope he doesn’t further our state’s demise like Davis did. If Jesse Ventura did it, so can Arnold! Can’t say I place my faith in the man, but pretty much anyone is better than Davis right now, so let’s see what happens.
How does this camera sound?

I found a 2.1MP digital camera with 3X optical zoom and macro for only $155! It’s a Kodak CX4230, and it looks good! Do you think it’s worth getting? It’s going for $155 on eBay, and you can view the auction here:

$155 is still expensive for me, but if I can sell some of my stuff, I’ll do it! Help me out! Donate!
Federal Do Not Call List
by inferno10 on Apr.13, 2003, under hopeful
I found this off Gretchen Pirillo’s blog, and boy will it pay off bigtime. If you live in California, you can now pre-register for the Federal Trade Commission’s nationwide do not call (DNC) list. For those living under a rock, the FTC recently approved the program that allows for the DNC list. It will be initiated sometime in the summer. But for Californians, we can now begin registering to be added to the list. So kiss those telemarketing calls away! Click here to add yourself to the Do Not Call pre-registration list. Your phone will thank you later.
