Happy with my Pentax K20D, but sometimes I wish Pentax would up the ante with a full-frame camera like the Canon 5D Mark II. The price of a full-frame camera makes me cry though…

I have been to the Apple mecca-event for the first time, and I must return again for another pilgrimage. Pictures to follow.

Gotta love those impulse desires to go snowboarding. Thank you long weekend!

Last night, I randomly decided to go on a snowboarding/sightseeing trip. I’m doing this trip alone, because I tour best when I’m free to my own leisure, also because I decided on the trip literally hours ago. It’ll give me time to relax as well.

I wanted to go snowboarding today, but when I woke up, it was raining. The weather report showed rain over at Mountain High (where I was going to board) too, so I thought it was going to be slushy there. What sucks was that after another three hours of sleep, the Mountain High webcam showed nice weather, with people skiing/boarding. What a way to piss me off.

So now that it’s already 9AM and I haven’t left, I’m gonna have to modify my itinerary a bit. I’m gonna drive to my hotel in Redondo Beach first so I can drop off some stuff, then go around LA in tourist-mode. Then Sunday I’ll check out of the hotel, go to Mountain High to snowboard, then head straight back to SLO. It’s sounds pretty harsh, but my original itinerary was the exact opposite of what I’m doing now, so it was harsh either way.

Not sure if I’m gonna hit a bar or two down there. Doesn’t seem too fun to go to bars solo; makes you seem like an alcoholic.

I bet my mom will freak out once she hears I went on a far trip on my own.

alright! we’re on our way towards Las Vegas. No parents too! This sounds like bad news to me. Hopefully I can have some fun…

I’m still amazed at how well my new cellphone can take pictures. It’ll definitely serve as a good pocket camera once I get a larger memory card. But look at what I can do already with it! Click the pictures to see larger versions:

In a complete tangent, Chem 125 is really kicking my arse (and it’s only the SECOND day of class). There’s a diagnostic test on Monday to see if I’m ready for the class. I think I’m gonna bomb it. If I do, I’m going to 124, letting my AP credit goto waste. But I can’t let my GPA fall any further.

In another complete tangent, I’m posting here using a different program now. I used to use w.bloggar, but it lacked the features I needed for the new music thingy. So I migrated to this program called Zempt It doesn’t have as many features as w.bloggar, but it was designed specifically for MovableType, placing it a notch above w.bloggar in my book.

I’m sleepy. I’m gonna get up early, get my HW done, then read as much old chem material as I can before going insane. Geek mode: on.
