Urge to see lowering, lowering

by inferno10 on Feb.05, 2005, under cheerful

I got a nice night of sleep last night. Didn’t get to see the 400 cops busting butt around the campus area, but maybe today will hold hope for me. I should be an action news photographer or something.

So last night we didn’t do much. Jay had to goto a winter guard thing this weekend, so he’ll be gone Saturday and part of Sunday, but back just in time for Superbowl!!! For some odd reason, he was the only one to get plastered last night. I’ve been finding myself drinking less and less. I don’t want to waste their drinks. Odd thinking, but that’s what holds me back. Maybe once I’m 21 and start buying the drinks for the house, I’ll be pounding one more often.

Jay had the urge to get a cookie. Plus he thought his friend was working at B&N Café that night, so Chris drove us downtown. I got to see some cops writing tickets for drivers, which was cool. Not the 400 I wanted to see lining the area, but good enough for me. I was so paranoid on the drive there. I kept looking to the rear to see if we were being followed by a cop.

Yeah, so Jay’s friend wasn’t working at the cafe that night. No discount Starbucks coffee for me. There must be some unwritten law that Jason cannot have discount Starbucks coffee. Not like I had coffee anyway; I just got a vanilla creme frappucino (so it’s a girlie drink, sue me).

After avoiding one of many DUI checkpoints, we decided to check out Avila Beach for some random reason. We saw a huge bonfire going on. I wanted to check it out, but Chris made a u-turn and headed back to SLO. By that time, I had the STRONGEST urge to go on California and see the action there. But once again a DUI checkpoint blocked our path. So that ended my hopes and my night.

Maybe tonight will grant me the courage to venture over there…

Well, about to hit the sack. I can study no more. It’s over.

But before I go, one more funny signature pic I found on another forum:

MC Hammer fights with our troops over in Iraq:
Go Hammer!

How cool is that?!?

To do: laundry before I drive home, find my snowboard.

Happy Holidays

by inferno10 on Nov.23, 2003, under cheerful

It’s almost that time of the year again. I was rummaging through my old files, and found my incomplete Christmas greeting video from yore (last year). I still think it’s pretty funny on a simple level. Here it is (you need Windows Media Player to view it)!

Latest purchase

by inferno10 on Nov.16, 2003, under cheerful

My current pair of sunglasses are falling apart. The frame was silver, but the color is peeling off the plastic frame. So, although it is nearing Winter, I decided to purchase a replacement pair of glasses for me. I didn’t want the same pair, so I looked on Fossil’s website for a good replacement. I was tired of the super mirrored fire-colored lens, so instead I got the charcoal Fossil Cruise sunglasses. It’s the same price as my previous pair, but has a much more mature look and still retains a mirrored finish. I went with Fossil again because I like their style, plus their free shipping. I guess this will be my major purchase from my current paycheck. Just 1 more week until I get paid again, and my personal bank account will finally reach over the $1000 mark.

Take a look. What do you think?

Woohoo Ruben!!!

by inferno10 on May.21, 2003, under cheerful

I knew Ruben was going to be the next American Idol. His voice is just so smooth. And he’s cool too, unlike Martha Stewart.

Clay’s probably gay anyway, and he looks like a porcupine. The best man won. I’m happy. Now back to my regularly scheduled super study session.

Congratulations Ruben Studdard! I look forward to your first album!
